Elephant & Camel Stables – Majestic Royal Quarters
The Elephant Stables in Hampi were once the shelter for royal elephants and camels of the Vijayanagara Empire. This long domed structure features 11 interconnected chambers, each with Islamic-style domes and arched doorways.
This is one of the most well-preserved structures from the empire and showcases the Indo-Islamic architectural style, perfect for picturesque photography.
